A Little Introduction
Although I’ve written many blogs in the past for personal journaling-type reasons, this one is intended to be something a little different. I’m intending to focus on different topics which relate to me, in such a way that hopefully people will find it informative as well as interesting, rather than just a personal ramble!
Over the next few weeks I’m going to try and write an introduction to each topic, although some may be a mish mash of lots of little things.
To start with, a little about me…
I’m a 22 year old called Emma, living in Birmingham, UK.
I’m a student at the University of Birmingham studying Computer Science and Software Engineering MEng
I live by myself and have been officially “Homeless” for a year now (although I have a temporary flat). I know a lot about current Housing Law now!
I have a wide range of disabilities from physical (NEAD, mobility, RSI and nerve injuries) and mental (Borderline Personality Disorder) and I’m going to cover stuff relating to that in my blogs.
As a student living off Disability Benefits I’m into money saving, earning extra money from home and that sort of thing - definitely a topic to cover in this current economic climate!
And my last definite topic will be on weight loss. I’m currently embarking on a weight loss project as I weigh 25 stone (350lbs!). Although I have been referred to a surgeon for weight loss surgery, I’m also developing a new healthy way of eating which suits me and fits in with my various issues.
Other topics will of course appear now and then.
Watch this space!
